Push Notifications for Train Delays Now Live in Trainradar24

Trainradar24 is launching an advanced push notification system for rail passengers. The new feature delivers automatic alerts about delays, cancellations, and upcoming departure times – without constantly checking the app.
Four Notification Types
- Reminder 24 hours before departure – for passengers planning ahead
- Reminder 1 hour before departure – time to head to the station
- Reminder 15 minutes before departure – final warning
- Delay alert – instant notification on any timetable change
How to Enable Notifications
- Open the Trainradar24 app
- Search for your train and add it to favourites
- Go to notification settings for that train
- Select which alert types you want to receive
The system runs in the background – the app does not need to be open. Notifications appear directly on the phone's lock screen.
Real-Time Data
Delay notifications are based not only on official operator data but also on crowdsourced reports from Trainradar24 passengers. This means alerts arrive earlier – often before the operator has updated their own systems.
